Super Soccer Academy offers three training courses for volunteers,
and teachers from Junior and Senior Schools. Our aim is to improve
the standard of soccer teaching in Schools

Course Title: S.S.A.
Junior Coaching Certificate (Course Code: SSA1)
For Whom is the Course Intended?
Minimum age: 16 years
Managers or Coaches of Teams aged 6-10 years
Prospective candidates for The SAA Coaching Certificate |
Course objectives:
On completion of the Course the candidate should be able to:
Promote and establish working relationships and high standards of
behaviour with players, coaches, parents and officials in the overall
development of Association Football
Develop an appreciation and understanding of Association Football
Introduce youngsters Under 11 years
of age to Mini-Soccer and promote its benefits for this age group
Organise and supervise football-game like activities including the
Soccer Star
Scheme, Mini-Soccer, Small-sided games and conditioned games. |

For Whom is the Course Intended?
Teachers of Junior School children & Prospective Teachers of Junior
School children |
Course Objectives:
On completion of the course, candidates will display the following
competences in relation to the teaching of football:
An awareness of Association Football in the modern schools
An understanding of safety and fair play aspects
How to effectively organise a class in relation to space, groups,
areas, numbers and equipment
How to develop units of work and lesson plans
How to effectively use equipment in lesson delivery
To plan football lessons and units of work
To deliver effective football lessons
To evaluate football lesson delivery |
